Abby just turned One Year Old!  What better reason to post!  So, since I did a look back at Ava, I will do a look back at Abby. Let's start at the beginning.  The day we met Abby, and finally found out her name! These will be in random order.  Next, a picture of my two babies with their two babies.  A picture I truly treasure!  Taken at Rosa's, which we frequent with the family.  No, we don't always go to Texas Star Raven. Next, another favorite!  We had family photos done this year.  It was SO much fun!  And we didn't take enough pictures!  Next time, more pictures!  However, it was really hard to choose from them all, so maybe not more pictures?  I loved this one! I love this one for a variety of reasons.  But it is especially precious because Abby is on a quilt that my mother, her Great Grammy, made for Jenni. This next one I love for obvious reasons.  Looking forward to October ...

Ava started Kindergarten this year.  Amazing!  My how time flies.  I was just going through my photos and tagging Ava in them.  So much fun for me looking back at this wonderful first grandchild!  I thought I would post the ones that I love the most.  (Really, is there ever a picture of my grandchildren that I don't love?) Have to start with brand new Baby Ava.  She was so absolutely tiny, and PERFECT in every way! I don't remember how old she is here, but she is still so tiny! Ava and Aunt Jenni at Ava's First Birthday. Ava loved Elmo.  Back then we could not find Elmo pajamas for girls. So Ava is wearing Elmo pajamas for boys! Started a nice tradition.  She passed them down to Eli! I think this shows the crazy side of Ava.  I did not know it then! We bought this toy for Ava before she was one. I just had to replace the batteries in it today! It has lasted through 4 grandchildren in 6 years. ...

This past summer was very busy!  It started with the birth of Abby and just kept going!  The next major event was our annual trip to John and Patty's cabin in Minnesota.  We were so fortunate that Rod and Jenni and Miss Abby could be with us.  She loved her Aunt Patty!  We called Patty the Baby Whisperer! One of my favorite things to do in Minnesota is EAT!  There is always a lot of Great Food around!  With the exception of myself, there are a lot of awesome cooks at the cabin!  Steak night is looked forward to each year.  Pat and Leah provide wonderful steak and salad.  Below, the meat!  Love the meat!  Love eating all that protein!  (no fat, right?) Every summer, I learn a lot about cooking.  This year I learned about proper presentation of the salad!  And I have put it to good use!  Always a great looking, and great tasting salad around for every meal! Okay, it is official that I am way behind in posting.  And there has been a lot of things that have happened since my last posting!  So we will begin with the most important post to date:  Miss Abby Jen! Miss Abby Jen Rebolledo was born on June 27, 2013.  Isn't she lovely?  Jenni labored a long time, and then it seemed like the little girl just popped out!  Her eyes were wide open when she was born.  I don't have that picture, but ask Rod to see it.  It is amazing! First picture of the new little family.  I know you cannot see it, but Abby's little hat has her name on it!  This is how we learned her name.  From the hat.  And a beautiful name on a beautiful hat on a beautiful little head of a beautiful little newborn! Brand new baby, all swadled up.  Eyes still gooey from the ointment they put in them.  Just sleeping peacefully. Little girl all dressed up to go home.  She looks so tiny!  S...
