Jay's Birthday
Jay's birthday is December 5. We celebrated tonight at home, with one of Jay's favorite meals. We had homemade stew and Grammy's Spoon Bread. (Of course, his favorite meal is Beans and Cornbread, which Sarah fixed for him on his actual birthday.) We had a nice relaxing meal. And Ava blessed us with lots of smiles and coos. No pictures tonight. Just mental pictures of a family gathering together. And memories of when we had dinner with Mom and Pop or Grammy and Granddaddy when our kids were little. I hope they get a window from heaven to see precious Ava. And to see how much Jay loves Sarah and Sarah loves Jay. Yes, I am tearing up at the moment. I am feeling so very blessed tonight.
