Final Night at Kelly and Jamey's

Image
Saturday we headed over to Kelly and Jamey's house for sub sandwiches and visiting. Devon had a sore throat and was unable to entertain us as planned. So we visited, ate sandwiches, chips, etc. Another evening with good weather. Darbi came into town that day, so we had a chance to visit with her as well.

Swim Party at Johnny's

Image
Johnny has a great condo and a lovely patio and swim area. We sat outside, ate fried chicken, potato, salad, coleslaw, and watched the kids and Kelly swim. Mike Spurgeon joined in the fun, too. Take a look at the fashion statement Jake makes with his swim goggles! We all enjoyed the chance for a longer visit with Johnny.

Pizza Night

Image
Always fun. No dance floor this year! But lots of pizza! I'm sure everyone ate too much. The kids got to "shoot" some, too.

Golf

Image
Miniature Golf was a lot of fun. It was a rather breezy, almost rainy day, but we set out bravely to have fun anyway. The most fun was watching the kids, of course. All 20 of us were divided into groups. You could really hear the hollering when one of us made a hole in one! I am not sure who made the lowest score, but we were all evenly matched.

Downstairs Fun

Image
Karaoke, pool playing, and darts were enjoyed by all, although just the kids are pictured here. We have a lot of talented Worleys!

NIRTZ and other card games!

Image
Nirtz was a never ending game. Everyone played at one time or another. We wore cards out and had to buy new ones. So the folks not playing Nirtz were playing solitaire with the used cards. When is our Nirtz reunion?

Reading and Napping

Image
It absolutely would not be a great reunion if a few naps were not taken. Young and not-so-young alike enjoyed a nap most days. A few folks snuck away to their rooms to nap. Of course there were others who would start out reading and then succumb to a nap, some complete with very light snoring. Interestingly, you did not have to beg the adults to take a nap, but the kids were too excited to do much sleeping. Poor Jay fell asleep waiting for an endless NIRTZ game to end!

Reclining Fun

Image
Lots of time spent reclining as we all first arrived at Uncle John's cabin, and throughout our week long stay. The weather was beautiful -- and no mosquitos noticed for the most part. Here you see Rusty, Patsy, Dave and Tammy enjoying the weather. (Tammy really has a cup of M&M's hiding there, too.)
