Judi and Mike Get Married!
Do you know what you were doing 42 years ago around 4:30 p.m.? Well, I do! Mike and I were about to be married. It's kind of funny, that the guy I laughed at when he tried to kiss me the first time, is the guy I ended up with for 42 whole years! But that's another story. We were two college kids trying to pick a date that didn't interfere with classes. We got married on a Saturday, honeymooned in Dallas on Sunday and Monday, and went back to classes on Tuesday. Not like how weddings are done in this day. Mike and I picked the Presbyterian Seminary Chapel, right on the edge of campus, for the wedding. It reminded me of my childhood in England. And a bit of a chapel or two in the Air Force. Most girls have their wedding all planned out in advance, or so I hear. I never did. Our wedding was very simple.
