Fun Time With Eli!

Eli got to come to my house all by himself.  Ava and Sarah had some girl time things to do.  I have not been very good at getting pictures of Eli, so I decided to keep the camera handy and follow him around the house.  So fun to see what he wanted to do!

He arrived wearing sunglasses!  So cute!  I asked him if he wanted to take them off.  "No", he replied.  He is actually very good with that word.  He walked straight to the kitchen, opened the pantry door, and said "snack".  He knows where the Clif Jr bars are.  He handed it to me to open.

Next he and Anna (our new dog) decided to play with various toys.  That was after Anna licked his hands to get the residue of the Clif Jr bar off.

He next disappeared into the den.  I thought he was going to play the piano, because he loves banging out his own special tunes (which for some reason really sound like tunes!).  Instead he climbed in the rolling chair.  He wanted to be swung around in a circle.  We did that until he got dizzy.

At some point he headed to "his" bedroom to turn on his "bedtime" music.  This can amuse him for quite awhile, as he turns it off and then back on.  We also spent another block of time in the bathroom.  I sat him on the counter to wash his face and hands.  He was right next to the light switch, so he would turn that off and on, with the proper sound effects supplied by Grammy.  He giggled a lot.

Right now his carseat and Ava's carseat are sitting in a a corner in the dining room.  He loves to go over and sit in them.  Sometimes he wants them dragged into the living room to sit in front of the TV.

And then there was a lot of time spent just plain ole playing.  We really had a lot of fun with the cars and the racing ramp.  This was when he finally took his glasses off.  I walked into the kitchen to get him some water in his cup, and suddenly I hear a loud crunching noise.  Yep, Anna was actually under the coffee table chewing on the glasses.  Now I will be hunting for a new pair of camo sunglasses for him!  He did not seem to really mind.

Fun time with Eli the day before I left for Paris.
