Glamour Girls
First, a picture of the newly "made-over" Grammy / Mother-of-the-Bride. In search of a new look, I went to a Lancome event for a make-over. Jenni watched. It was fun, and I learned a lot. We forgot to take a picture until we were at Taco Bueno. Not the dinner out I had hoped for, and I hope it was no reflection on how I looked!
She has on cute boots this time! And that is a skirt she is wearing. The bib -- no matter how tiny she looks, she is now teething! She is four months old and now weighs 9 lbs.
We get to see Ava at least once a week, sometimes more, but I do not always have my camera handy. She has grown a lot. This morning at breakfast with the family, Mike held Ava and took her on a Texas History tour of the Raven. She still liked the television better, but she was very polite and listened intently to all he told her.
My other Glamour Girl has been busy making wedding plans. We spent a whole day doing wedding things -- looking at possible bridesmaid dresses and dishes, etc. Actually more fun than the tasting cake day. Life is good.
Ava having "tummy time" at Grammy's house. Isn't she cute? Her eyes keep looking bigger and bigger, and she is noticing more things in her environment.
Sarah said she usually doesn't like tummy time.
We have noticed she also loves the television lights! She must take after her Pop, who will always sit down in a restaurant where he can see the tv and talk to me, too!

I know she is not smiling here, but we just thought this outfit was so cute! Look at her feet -- those are rattles on her feet! When she moves her feet, she can make a small amount of noise!
I never see Sarah that I am not impressed with
how beautiful she is. When she and Ava are together, they both glow. You can tell they have a special bond!

"He fills my life with good things.
My youth is renewed like the eagle's!"
