Overlooking the villiage of Bagni de Lucca which was the little town nearest our villa. We had several memorable visits to Bagni and learned a little of the culture of rural Tuscany.

And the pizza was outstanding!

...lived a young man named Rocky Raccoon."  I always thought that song said "South" Dakota.  Are there Black Hills in both Dakotas?  I'm sure I don't know and am not really going to take the time to find out, no matter how easy it is with Google, Bing, etc. After Cabin Time, This set of Worleys, young and old, headed for those Black Hills.  We were going to see Mount Rushmore.  In South Dakota.  And to see anything else that struck our fancy.  So we struck out in our trusty Jeep and Mini-van, loaded with kids and snacks.  On July 30.  We saw lots of motorcycles as we went.  Lots. Of. Motorcycles!  Come to find out, it was the start of the annual Sturgis Rally.  In Sturgis, SD.  If you do not know what that is, feel free to Google it! Grandchildren Are Sneaky!

  We had the pleasure of having Abby, Keely, and Jenni staying with us for a few days while Rod was on a retreat in Guatemala.  We had a wonderful time.  Those little girls have quite the imaginations!  And they are sneaky.  Very sneaky.  Actually, all my grandchildren are sneaky except for Jack.  And I'm sure he WILL be sneaky one day!   Every one of them likes to play in my room.  The main attraction is the huge paperweight  Elliptical machine.  They all are very proud of how well they can make those pedals move!  Sometimes two of them are on there at the same time.  Makes me nervous.  They also love clocks and timers.  At some point every clock in every room has moved around.  I find them in the kitchen, in the dining room, and in some place that I would never expect.  Pop has an alarm clock with a phone.  Currently we do not have the phone hooked up.  The kiddos can be found talking to s...
