Well, it has been awhile! Time to get started again! And what better way to return than with a new baby, Baby Jack. Sometimes called Baby Jack Jack. He is absolutely adorable, and absolutely adored by his entire family. Absolutely everyone wants a turn holding him. And he is just so happy! This little boy is carrying on the name. He's the third boy of the family! And may he and his brothers have many sons of their own! Stay tuned for more adventures in the family Worley! "And now, may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you. For you have spoken, and when you grant a blessing to your servant, O Sovereign Lord , it is an eternal blessing!” 2 Samuel 7:29 NLT
What would a trip to the cabin be without the Nisswa Turtle Races! I do not know how long these have been going on, but I do know it has been awhile since we have had kids young enough (and old enough to enjoy) to participate. This was the 52nd Annual Nisswa Turtle Races summer. It ran from June 3, 2015 through August 19, 2015. It was offerred only on Wednesdays. They provided the Turtles to race. And it needed to----our kids numbers started around 190! This picture was taken earlier in the day. No one is around. We had no idea that the Turtle Races were so popular! We should have, because we have been here before. But....selective memory! Remember only the fun parts! One few of the line t...
We had the pleasure of having Abby, Keely, and Jenni staying with us for a few days while Rod was on a retreat in Guatemala. We had a wonderful time. Those little girls have quite the imaginations! And they are sneaky. Very sneaky. Actually, all my grandchildren are sneaky except for Jack. And I'm sure he WILL be sneaky one day! Every one of them likes to play in my room. The main attraction is the huge paperweight Elliptical machine. They all are very proud of how well they can make those pedals move! Sometimes two of them are on there at the same time. Makes me nervous. They also love clocks and timers. At some point every clock in every room has moved around. I find them in the kitchen, in the dining room, and in some place that I would never expect. Pop has an alarm clock with a phone. Currently we do not have the phone hooked up. The kiddos can be found talking to s...
