Meet Miss Rebolledo
Miss Rebolledo was due on October 9. We seriously were not expecting her before then. We got back from vacation on September 21. Jenni came home on the 25th from the Drs. office with an "any day now" prognosis. We still did not believe. But, like good Grandparents, we had our "Go Bags" ready in case indeed she came early. Oh, by the way, we did not know the name at this point, so we called her Baby Lucy (after Lucy Ricardo). The plan if Lucy came at night: when we got "the call", grab the bags, head to Jenni's, and go back to bed. If we got "the call" during the day, pick up Abby and head back to our house. So, at 0400 on September 30, we got "THE CALL"! Jenni had been having contractions, minor ones, the evening before, so we weren't too surprised. And yet we were! And So Excited!
