This past summer was very busy!  It started with the birth of Abby and just kept going!  The next major event was our annual trip to John and Patty's cabin in Minnesota.  We were so fortunate that Rod and Jenni and Miss Abby could be with us.  She loved her Aunt Patty!  We called Patty the Baby Whisperer! One of my favorite things to do in Minnesota is EAT!  There is always a lot of Great Food around!  With the exception of myself, there are a lot of awesome cooks at the cabin!  Steak night is looked forward to each year.  Pat and Leah provide wonderful steak and salad.  Below, the meat!  Love the meat!  Love eating all that protein!  (no fat, right?) Every summer, I learn a lot about cooking.  This year I learned about proper presentation of the salad!  And I have put it to good use!  Always a great looking, and great tasting salad around for every meal! Okay, it is official that I am way behind in posting.  And there has been a lot of things that have happened since my last posting!  So we will begin with the most important post to date:  Miss Abby Jen! Miss Abby Jen Rebolledo was born on June 27, 2013.  Isn't she lovely?  Jenni labored a long time, and then it seemed like the little girl just popped out!  Her eyes were wide open when she was born.  I don't have that picture, but ask Rod to see it.  It is amazing! First picture of the new little family.  I know you cannot see it, but Abby's little hat has her name on it!  This is how we learned her name.  From the hat.  And a beautiful name on a beautiful hat on a beautiful little head of a beautiful little newborn! Jenni has been very busy since February.  She has finished school finally!  I'm going to start with a couple of pictures of Jenni through the last part of her pregnancy.  The first one you can easily tell how far along she is ..... she labeled them for us! This one is at 38 weeks.  Just 2 weeks ago.  Hard to believe! And just for the record, here is a 3D sonogram of the little girl at 28 weeks. My favorite of all the pictures, because she is smiling! Jenni graduated May 18, with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center.  There was a lovely Hooding Ceremony for just her Physician Assistant School that morning that we attended first.  Here she is heading to the podium to have her Hood placed on. I must catch up!  Life has been busy the last few months!  Time for another birthday update -- in fact, it is WAY past time for another birthday update!  Sarah and Jay added a new grandson to our family on March 3!  Their children are always so obliging with the convenience of their birthday...they have all been born on a weekend.  Below the last picture of Sarah and Jay's family of 4.  Well, really, it is a picture of a family of 5, but you just can't see Miles!  Sarah and Jay were on the way to the hospital.  Ava and Eli were coming with us to have fun while we waited for Miles to make his appearance.  Sarah looks fabulous, doesn't she?
